Hey Mom and Dad! So I wanted to show you the old house we put an offer on in Provo. It's a short sale so it may not work out (especially since we were not the first to put in an offer) but I hope it does cause this is kind of outrageously awesome and so perfect for us. First it's two blocks south of main on 500 west (state street in orem is what 500 west becomes) so it's very close to the freeway, it's a busy road but has a private back yard where the kids can play and just a block away is the church where we can learn to ride bikes. Also a block away is the biggest park in the county with a nice fenced playground and coming splash pad and the farmers marked it held there. :)
So this is the front. You can kind of see there is additions on both sides. the left is large (family room), the right is small with tons of windows (master bath). But the layout inside is basically like a square with a room in each corner
you can see the bathroom here well.
this is a few from the sidewalk looking into the yard. theres a conversation pit like thing in that circle of trees, the garage on the left and pool on the right (the thing with windows on ceiling)
This is the garage with studio on top. pool in back of it.
here's inside the studio. There's no toilet or anything but we would use it for our recording and photography business and also probably share with another creative professional in exchange for rent
the other side of the studio
the pool
the pool. It's not a complete ceiling, just half way with big opening
inside of pool. taken through a dirty window
Now entering from the front the left room is the dining room but I would make it into a small formal living room with piano.
another view of this room from the entry way
through the dining room (future living room ) there is an add on that is a family room
view from back of family room
So the first room on the right of the entry is the master bedroom and that door leads to the add on with windows that is the bathroom.
This is the bathroom (they are so great at photography no?) under that shower rod covered in clothes is the craziest tub. Its completely copper, huge and wood around it. I haven't decided if I love it or dispose it, lol
this is the kitchen and is much cuter than it looks here. Someday would remodel but not so bad with a little organization. Can you imagine the herbs drying from the ceiling here? :)

kitchen fireplace
the back left room is the living room (which would be made into a dining room instead since it is nest to the kitchen and makes more sense to me to be a dining room) and is where the dreadful stairs are.
the dreadful stairs. These are insanely dangerous and the only reason we waited too long to put in an offer, but rick would help us build new ones
just up the stairs is this small room (which would become smaller with the new stairs) and might become a loft or small nursery or guest room...who knows.
the right back room up top is the bathroom. needs a little tlc and cleaning but is really cool.
the laundry room next to it.
the front two rooms are bedrooms, both with fireplaces. There was pictures only of the front right one but the left is just the same.
This is the end of my tour.
Hoping the first bid fails and ours goes through, aren't you? Can you see how it's my dream house? sigh..... it's like a country cottage in england....or it would look like this if I lived there. :)
